wire cube shelving unit. The working principle of gravity shelves

We all know that each storage shelf has its own unique functional characteristics, which naturally can be divided into simpler shelves and more complex shelves. Heavy shelves and light shelves belong to simple types of shelves, while gravity shelves require more complex structures and require more components during installation.

In fact, gravity shelves have evolved from pallet shelves, but pallet shelves use pallets to store goods, while gravity shelves use roller tracks. The working mode of gravity shelves is also very special. The characteristic of this shelf is to use gravity to transport goods, so it is not difficult to observe that gravity shelves are also structurally different from ordinary shelves. The vast majority of shelf beams are horizontal, but gravity shelves are different. The beams of this shelf have a certain slope, and the reason for this design is related to the working mode of gravity shelves.

The biggest feature of gravity shelves is to use gravity to transport goods, install specialized roller tracks, and design a certain slope. This way, when goods are placed on the shelves, they will automatically move to the inside of the shelves, and the entire transportation process does not require manual labor. However, the angle of gravity shelves is not suitable for too large, as an excessive angle can cause the goods to slide too quickly, which can easily cause collisions and damage to the goods or shelves, bringing unnecessary losses to the enterprise.
