storage rack shelving unit manufacturer. How to deal with the problem of rust and oxidation on high-rise shelves

When manufacturing shelves, steel is generally chosen as the material, which means that no matter how complex the results may be, oxidation and rust may occur during long-term use. So how should we avoid oxidation or slow down the corrosion time of storage shelves as much as possible? This requires our employees to carefully maintain the shelves.

Firstly, environmental factors can affect the oxidation time of storage shelves. Generally, in a humid environment, the oxidation time of shelves is shorter than in a dry environment. This means that when choosing warehouses, enterprises should try to choose geographical locations with relatively dry environments as much as possible. If the environment does not allow, then we also need to ensure that the warehouse is in a dry environment as much as possible during future use.

If there is oxidation and rust on the shelves, but it is not very serious, we can prevent further oxidation of the shelves by applying some oil or paint to prevent oxidation. If the oxidation situation is already severe, our operators need to replace the shelves in a timely manner. If the shelves with severe oxidation continue to be used, it is likely to cause significant safety hazards.
