What are the advantages of a drive-in shelf and what environment it is suitable for use in.wire storage racks ikea

The reason why the drive-in shelf can increase the storage capacity of the warehouse is mainly related to the structural composition of this shelf itself. There is a significant difference in the structure between the entry type shelves and most shelves in the market. The first layer of the entry type shelves is relatively high because forklifts need to enter the interior of the shelves for access work. In order to not affect the passage of forklifts, we need to ensure that the height of the first layer of the shelves is higher than the height of forklifts. So, in daily work, what are the special features of the drive-in shelves.

　　1. Drive-in shelves also use pallets to store goods, but the depth of the shelves can be designed deeper during storage, and there is no need to reserve a passage for forklifts. This has a very high storage density and high utilization of warehouse space.

　　2. The drive-in shelf can support multiple working modes, and customers can choose whether to use the first in, first out or first in, last out working mode based on different types of products. Usually, in order to avoid trouble during work, when we design a drive-in shelf, the depth is usually calculated before design.

In fact, in addition to the above two points, the manufacturing cost of the drive in shelf is relatively cheap, and the benefits it can bring to the enterprise during later work are also greater. These are all the advantages of this shelf. Of course, drive-in shelves may be more suitable for storing simple types of goods. If you want to store complex types of products, it may be better to choose other types of shelves.
