　　Pallet shelving, also known as crossbeam shelving or cargo space shelving, is usually a heavy-duty shelving system commonly found in various warehousing shelving systems in China. Firstly, it is necessary to carry out containerization work, which involves grouping the packaging and weight characteristics of the goods into pallets, determining the type, specifications, dimensions of the pallets, as well as the single pallet load capacity and stacking height (the weight of single pallet goods is generally within 2000kg). Then, the span, depth, and interlayer spacing of the unit shelves are determined, and the height of the shelves is determined based on the effective height of the warehouse roof frame and the larger fork height of the forklift. The span of unit shelves is generally within 4 meters and the depth is within 1.5 meters. The height of shelves in low and high level warehouses is generally within 12 meters, and the height of shelves in super high level warehouses is generally within 30 meters (these types of warehouses are mostly automated warehouses, and the total height of shelves is composed of several sections of columns within 12 meters). In this type of warehouse, most low and high level warehouses use forward moving battery forklifts, balance weight battery forklifts, and three-way forklifts for storage and retrieval operations. When the shelves are low, electric stackers can also be used, while for ultra high level warehouses, stackers are used for storage and retrieval operations. This type of shelf system has high space utilization, flexible and convenient access, supplemented by computer management or control, and can basically meet the requirements of modern logistics systems. Widely used in manufacturing, third-party logistics, and distribution centers, it is suitable for both multi variety and small batch items, as well as small variety and large batch items. This type of shelf is widely used in high-level warehouses and super high-level warehouses (most automated warehouses use this type of shelf).
